IELTS ( International English Language Testing System)

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is an internationally owned and globally recognised direct English language assessment of the highest quality and integrity readily available throughout the world.

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)

The TOEFL test is a requirement for admission into colleges and universities where instruction is in English. In addition, many government, licensing, and certification agencies, and exchange and scholarship programs use TOEFL scores to evaluate the English proficiency of people for whom English is not their native language.

TOEFL (Computer Based)

Test of English as a Foreign Language is a skill based exam, which tests the proficiency of American English of those students who are planning to study abroad.

GMAT (Graduate Management Submission Test)

The GMAT is a test of verbal and quantitative abilities for aspirants to Graduate Business schools. It is virtually compulsory for admission into an M.B.A. or an M.B.S. course in Northern America and is catching on in other regions as well.
With a good score in GMAT it becomes easier to obtain admission, teaching assistance-ship and merit-based scholarships.
The GMAT Quantitative section consists of High School math in which Nepali students usually score quite well.
The GMAT Verbal has 3 question types based on critical reasoning, advanced grammar and usage, and reading comprehension.

GRE (Graducate Record Examination)

GRE is for Graduate school aspirants in the arts, sciences and humanities. It is a test of verbal reasoning, analytical writing and quantitative reasoning. It is taken by thousands of Graduate school aspirants who want to take up an M.Sc., M.A., or M.E. course in the United States or elsewhere.
With a good score in GRE it becomes easier to obtain admission, teaching assistantships and merit-based scholarships.
The GRE Quantitative section consists of High School math in which Nepali students usually score quite well.
The GRE Verbal has 4 question types based on correlating between words and concepts, between different component parts of sentences and synthesizing information from the written text.

SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test)

The College Board has administrated the New SAT for the first time in March 2005. For the first time, the New SAT will provide an analysis of the college success skills in Critical Reading, Writing and Mathematics. This analysis will give you feedback that will help you better prepare for college by identifying your strengths and weaknesses in these skills.
With a good score in New SAT you travel first class. A high composite score and a strong individual score ensure that the best collages accept you, besides enabling you to compete for scholarships to the extent of full tuition waivers.
